Wow. According to Colorado’s Secretary of State, voter turnout in the November election was a whopping 87 percent — a new record for the state. 2.1 million of the state’s 2.4 million registered voters went to the polls.

More than two dozen of Colorado’s 64 counties had turnout higher than 90 percent. Douglas County in the Denver metro area — Colorado’s most populous region — had a 96 percent turnout.
