Get Ready for an All Star Scene

By |

Denver’s entertainment gurus are shaking in their boots already.

Lots of club owners, DJs, event planners, and other nightlife types are wondering how Denver will fare when the NBA All Star Weekend – and all the accompanying hoopla – descend on the Mile High City February 17-20. Basketball stars and fans alike really know how to party. Will we be able to step up our level of service and show the visiting athletes, celebs, and media that Denver really does have more to offer than the Stock Show?

Denverites know that we have plenty of options, but let’s face it. The VIP rooms at most clubs in town aren’t used to accomodating mass quantities of serious scenesters who are all used to Very VIP treatment. Some clubs don’t expect any problems, but others are planning ahead, adding staff and getting ready well in advance. And they should; just look at who’s heading to town so far:

And this is just the early buzz. Wait until we’re two weeks out, and then we’ll start to get a better idea of just what a party weekend Denver is in for. The biggest problem – hitting all these parties is going to require a lot of cash and even more endurance.

I’ll be resting up in preparation.
