There will be a hearing of the Colorado Transportation Board tomorrow in Grand Junction to discuss nine alternatives as a response to the anticipated increase of traffic through the Eisenhower Tunnel in coming years. Among the items to be discussed is funding and whether a toll should be imposed.

Wednesday’s hearing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Country Inn of Grand Junction, 718 Horizon Drive. Other hearings planned statewide through the end of February include one from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Hotel Colorado, 526 Pine St., in Glenwood Springs. Citizens who cannot attend a public hearing can review and comment on the draft study and environmental impact statement on the project Web site, through March 10.
