Rep. Marilyn Musgrave announced today she has been appointed to sit on a subcommitee of the House of Representative’s Small Business Committee. Her qualifications for the post include having run a family-owned business in Colorado.

The Subcommittee on Workforce, Empowerment and Government Programs deals with:

“…problems small businesses face in attracting and retaining employees and growing in economically depressed areas. The panel also can look into government regulations that affect small businesses.

Does this mean she’ll have less time to promote Wayne Allard’s proposed constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage? Or to think about how to ruin social security? One can only wish.
