With talks stalled in the CU-Ward Churchill buyout, a resolution seemed unlikely over the weekend. Today, the Denver Post reports a private donor may step forward. The report on Churchill’s scholarship is not expected to be released today as scheduled and may take another two weeks. On person who doesn’t sound concerned is Churchill’s attorney, David Lane:

“This has nothing to do with fairness and justice. It’s about public relations for the university. “They’d better get used to signing Ward Churchill’s paycheck.”
