The Internal Affairs department of the Secret Service interviewed the Denver Three Wednesday as part of its continuing investigation into the their ouster from President Bush’s social security speech in Denver.

The three, Karen Bauer, Leslie Weise, and Alex Young, were interviewed in the presence of one of their attorneys, David Miller. Miller formerly was the Legal Director for the ACLU in Colorado. During the interview, the three identified possible other witnesses to the ouster.

The three said that the two investigators told them they had interviewed three other people and were ready to wrap up their inquiry – until the three identified other possible witnesses to the March 21 incident.

Both the White House and the Secret Service, who are aware of the identity of the “mystery man” who allegedly posed as a Secret Service agent and ejected the three from the event, refuse to release his name. But the three report that investigators told them the man has admitted posing as an agent.
