Join Bill and other Colorado leaders on Saturday, Sept. 3 for the first day of The Colorado Walk, a north-south trek across the state in support of Referenda C&D on the Nov. 1 ballot. The first day is expected to cover 12 miles.
It begins at the Wyoming-Colorado border, off Highway 287. It ends 7 miles south of Virginia Dale.
For religious-oriented conservatives, there is God and Country at the Pepsi Center, celebrating “Faith, Family, & Courage”:
Join Clay Walker, Mercy Me and Little Big Town; comedians Chonda Pierce and Nazareth; special guests Ann Coulter and Sen. Zell Miller and other hot local talent on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005 at Denver’s Pepsi Center for the God & Country Big Tent Concert Event!
If you’re looking for a non-partisan event, you might check out the 6th Annual Tango Festival in Denver:
The Denver Milonguero Festival honors the style of the great social dancers of Buenos Aires: close, subtle & romantic. Recapture that Buenos Aires experience! Previous events have been non-stop parties. We expect milonga attendance to be about 350
I’d like to see some Labor Day events that recognize the purpose behind the holiday:
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
That’s probably asking for too much.
