Scream Scram Oct 28
Show off your Halloween costume at this 6th annual 5K walk/run around Washington Park and 100M Spooky Sneak for kids. Benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS), the race raised $10,000 last year. Participants receive a tee shirt, food, candy, and opportunity to win prizes. Feel less guilty about scarfing that entire bag of mini Snickers by burning some calories at the Pumpkin Dasha 5K run & kid’s 1K to benefit the Denver Children’s Home and the University of Denver’s Sports, Arts, Volunteerism, and Education (S.A.V.E.) program. Immediately following the race, families are encouraged to attend free Halloween festivities in the Ritchie Center, including swimming, climbing, games, and trick-or-treating. Exotica Erotica Ball: Reve Risque Oct. 28
Dreams, fairytales (and fantasies?) come alive at the annual Exotica Erotica Ball, where the less clothes you wear, the better. The theme this year: Reve Risqué. Physicians and administrators at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center shave it all off to raise money for a new hospice center.
