Colorado Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Courlis tendered her resignation today, after ten years of serving on the state high court’s bench. She has a new endeavor lined up, but is keeping mum about it until January 10. It will have something to do with “justice.”

Courlis, a Republican, is the daughter of former Colorado Gov. John Love, and was nominated to the Court by Democrat Roy Romer.

She recently was suggested to the White House as a U.S. Supreme Court candidate by Colorado U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar, also a Democrat, and others of both political parties.
