Imagine all the people….
….who struggle with AIDS in Africa. Sadly, the 14 million children in Sub-Saharan Africa who have been orphaned as a result of AIDS are not imaginary. That’s why the ninth grade World Social Issues class at Denver Christian High School has built a museum on their campus, dedicated to the study of just such children who have lost their parents to the disease. The students created the display of their research and photos to challenge the public to get involved. Though admission costs nothing, donations are highly encouraged, and will go toward building an orphanage in Mozambique. Tue-Thu 6-8 p.m., Denver Christian High School, 2135 S. Pearl. Free with suggested $5 (or greater) donation. For more information, visit www.denver-christian.org/HighSchool.
