Everyone knows the house. The Sleeper House, the Sculptured House, the spaceship perched on Genessee Mountain. Woody Allen used it as a movie set, Forbes wrote about the design, and the in crowd in Denver always wants to go anytime there’s a house party.

If you haven’t been to the house, it is amazing — the view, the architecture, the design and decor — and well worth buying a ticket to one of the many fundraisers and events held there just to get the nickel tour. This week, the 65 Roses event on Friday the 20th offers guests different ticket levels, several of which include a home tour as part of the package. Called a “wine opener,” the party runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event is limited to 200 guests (and it’s white wine only, FYI, to protect the furnishings) and it’s already about half sold out, so act fast if you want to snoop around one of Denver’s most unique dwellings.
