The newly released October quarterly fundraising results for presidential candidates are online here. I was prompted to look by an excited e-mail I received from Hillary Clinton’s campaign today.

Hillary Clinton raised $346,000 in Colorado in the third quarter, making her the leading candidate in either party in the state’s money race last quarter. She has raised more than $540,000 in the state since the campaign began.

“We are overwhelmed by the strong support for Senator Clinton from every walk of life and every part of Colorado,” said Clinton Campaign Manager Patti Solis Doyle. “Coloradans know that Hillary has the strength and experience to deliver the change America needs.”

I can’t help but wonder how much of that came from Bill Clinton’s fundraiser in Boulder last month. I was able to attend and it was packed to the gills. But, moving on…..

According to the report, here’s what some of the other Democratic candidates received from Coloradans:

Barack Obama: 188,793.91
Bill Richardson: 91,970.00.
John Edwards: 62,078.50

On the Republican side, the numbers for Colorado break like this:

Mitch Romney: 198,178.00
Rudy Giuliani:144,425.00
John McCain: 50,916.00
Fred Thompson: 49,696.00
Tom Tancredo: 47,274.00

No matter which way you look at it, Hillary’s numbers blow the others out of the water. I’d say she has good reason to be excited about her prospects in the state.
