If you haven’t heard, Second Home chef Che Frey’s arrabiata pizza will be on The View tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. With so much buzz surrounding the dish (not to mention the brand-new restaurant itself), we popped in for a bite. Interestingly enough, the arrabiata pizza on the menu (tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh chiles, and fresh basil) is not the same one that you’ll see on television. That pizza–topped with Thai chiles, cherry peppers, and shrimp–is only available by special request. According to PR gal Antonette Smith, the item may eventually land on the regular menu. Until then we’ll stick to the milder version for the perfectly charred crust, an ideal ratio of cheese to toppings, and a decent amount of kick.
