Ward off fall’s chill at the cozy Parisian wine bar next to sister restaurant Z Cuisine. Chef-owner Patrick Dupays has cultivated another nook that feels straight out of Paris.

Choose a table in the corner or a barstool in the middle of A Cote’s eclectic space–either way, order a glass of wine from the French-heavy list, along with the brothy mussels that come straight from Z’s kitchen. Sit back and take in the twinkly mobile overhead, the silent black-and-white films projected on the wall, and forget all about Denver–for a bit, anyway.

Bonus: Change things up and order the Boulevard St. Germain cocktail, a delicate blend of pear and elderflower liqueurs and champagne, served up in a martini glass.
