New York City-based photographer and collage artist Jane Hammond–currently showing in MCA Denver’s photography gallery–has a thing for adventurous, expressive film. Among her favorites are Run Lola Run and Errol Morris’ 1997 documentary, Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control.

The latter, a nod to Hammond’s influences, combines movie clips, interviews, and cartoons to tell the story of a retired lion tamer, a hairless-mole-rats expert, and a robot designer.

Pull up a bean bag chair and settle down with a bag of popcorn.
