Allen Iverson isn’t looking forward to facing his old team, the Denver Nuggets. But he’ll have to face his demons during tonight’s game as he returns to Denver in the wake of the November trade that sent him to Detroit and brought Chauncey Billups to Denver, his hometown, according to The Denver Post.

Iverson isn’t upset. Actually, he sort of misses Denver, where he thought he’d retire. To come back knowing he can’t hang out with the people he knows here is “kind of disheartening,” he says.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets are doing just fine without Iverson–better than they have in years. The team is 25-12, first place in the National Basketball League’s Northwest Division.
