Bernard Jackson and Lionel Harris, two former University of Colorado football players, will each spend at least one year in jail after pleading guilty yesterday to felony burglary and menacing charges, according to Boulder’s Daily Camera, which reports that the men apologized (Jackson even shed tears) for their home-invasion robbery last summer. Each received a five-and-a-half-year prison sentence, seven years of mandatory parole, and must pay $425 in restitution. They could, however, be released within a year, depending on good behavior and involvement in rehabilitation programs.
