A cow charged a woman on the South Boulder Creek Trail on Monday, throwing her from her bicycle and then trampling her legs, according to Boulder’s Daily Camera, which reports that the woman had stopped to let the cow pass as she encountered it on the trail. The woman didn’t do anything to provoke the rogue bovine, according to witnesses, who noted the beast seemed to have an injured leg.

The woman was not seriously injured and refused medical attention, according to a ranger. Her name has been withheld. The cow was not identified either, but perhaps it was on its way to the National Western Stock Show, which is on track this year to be one of the best ever in terms of attendance, according to 9News.
