When Terrell Davis was a running back for the Denver Broncos in the 1990s, the team won back-to-back Super Bowls. Now, as Super Bowl XLIII approaches and, along with it, media days, Davis has shared a few thoughts with reporters regarding the demise of his old team.
Though the Broncos’ dumping of coach Mike Shanahan feels “weird” and “surprising” to Davis, the team also seems to be suffering an identity crisis, he tells the Rocky Mountain News. “Who is this team? What are they trying to do? When I played, you know what we were trying to do.”
