You’ll notice a slight similarity in the paintings of the Museum of Outdoor Arts‘ newest show, Object Project, which opens this weekend. Each of the 15 presenting artists has painted a clear glass of water, a moth, a ball of string, a bone, and a mirror into his or her works, evoking a sense of contemporary American realism. Saturday’s panel discussion and artist reception (three Colorado artists are included in the exhibition) will offer an opportunity to discuss the works with their creators. 4:30 p.m. Museum of Outdoor Arts, 1000 Englewood Parkway, Suite 2-230, Englewood 303-806-0444, Free
