A week before tickets for Phish’s four-night stand at Red Rocks were scheduled to go on sale, some fans hit Ticketmaster and were able to purchase anyway, in a “feeding frenzy,” writes Rolling Stone.

Although some fans thought Phish was trying to reward them and trick scalpers, Ticketmaster said it made a mistake. The company sent e-mails to people who bought tickets, canceling their orders. Tickets officially go on sale on March 26.
