Lindsey Vonn nabbed victory in the super-G at the World Cup skiing finals in Sweden yesterday. Vonn, a Vail resident and Minnesota transplant, had trailed Switzerland’s Fabienne Suter by 15 points going into the competition but was helped when Suter had a disappointing eighth-place run, according to CNN.

Vonn snatched victory from Nadia Fancini of Italy with a spectacular run, edging Fancini by 0.08 seconds with a time of 1:20.63. On Wednesday, Vonn won the downhill title and overall cup title.
