It appears Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler and team coach Josh McDaniels are going to make nice following Cutler’s statements of dismay that he could be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, writes The Denver Post, which quotes Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth as saying, “Josh and Jay will sit down and meet next week when Jay gets back from Nashville.” He then adds, “The Denver Broncos are not trading, Jay Cutler. Period.”

The proposed trade could have brought New England quarterback Matt Cassel, who worked under McDaniels, to Denver. Instead, Cassel went to the Kansas City Chiefs.
