Tea, given its health and wellness qualities, is one of the fastest growing sectors of the beverage industry, and the latest addition to the local tea market is Seven Cups, a traditional Chinese tea house on South Pearl Street.

The nine-month-old shop serves up–and sells in bulk–organic and fair-trade Chinese teas, like the wok-fired green tea Da Fo Long Jing and Black Tuocha, a compressed puer tea that is known for its detoxifying qualities.

While the teas themselves are certainly worth the trip to Seven Cups, consider giving yourself extra time to sip a brew in the dining room. Amid the shop’s authentic Chinese wooden tables and carvings, Denver feels miles away.
