The Denver Nuggets aren’t the only basketball team in Colorado worth keeping an eye on these days. The Colorado 14ers, of the National Basketball Association’s Developmental League (the D-League), face the Utah Flash in a best-of-three championship series starting tonight in Utah, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

The top-seeded 14ers, led by guard-forward Sonny Weems and power forward Josh Davis, finished 34-16 in the regular season, beating Erie and Austin to get to the finals. Utah, with a 32-18 record, is the league’s second-seeded team.

And there’s a rivalry with Colorado.”It will be an unbelievable series,” says Utah coach Brad Jones.
