Across the nation, women’s college basketball teams are getting good marks when it comes to racial diversity among their coaching staffs, but not at Colorado State University. While 14 of 16 schools received A’s for their hires in the recent season on the report card released yesterday by the Black Coaches and Administrators, CSU was the only school to get an F, according to The Associated Press (via The Washington Post). The school recently hired Kristen Holt, a former assistant to the team, who was promoted without an external search, the report states. Twenty percent of Division I schools now have coaches of color.
