This Easter weekend, tens of thousands of Christians across the country will turn out for dramatic portrayals about the final days of Jesus Christ’s life. Most of them will be small and run with limited resources, if any, writes Slate. But then there are the epics, including one called “The Thorn” at Colorado Springs’ New Life Church, which now has franchise productions in Minnesota and South Carolina. Meanwhile, the White House has unveiled the “greenest egg” in the Egg Roll there, according to The Wall Street Journal, which writes that the environmentally correct egg has features such as 31 percent less paperboard than the 2008 design, along with renewable, vegetable-oil-based inks (for colors other than green). The weather on Sunday will unfortunately be cloudy with possible rain showers and highs in the 50s, according to 9News.
