Looking for a place to celebrate National Poetry Month? Dazzle offers a fresh take on open-mic readings. Instead of sending a poet to the stage to read his works solo, each Wednesday the Lincoln Street lounge puts him in the spotlight with a jazz band. While the poet (anyone who signs up) reads, a bluesy trio improvises an accompanying melody. Local poet Dan Robinson hosts the first and third performances this month, and fusion-soul singer Soul Daddy leads the second and fourth. Wed., Apr. 15, 22, 29; 9 p.m. Dazzle, 930 Lincoln St., 303-839-5100 $5
