Colorado legislators honored the victims by passing a resolution entitled “Columbine High School Triumph over Tragedy” to highlight the school’s inspiring response to the tragedy, writes The Denver Post. Meanwhile, gun-control advocates rallied outside the Capitol, while inside state Senator Evie Hudak, a Westminster Democrat, asked gun owners to sacrifice their weapons for the protection of society, reports the Gazette, angering Republicans like Senator Keith King of Colorado Springs.
