Heff Grogradsky has finally landed his dream job–or so he thinks. Almost as soon as he starts, a large corporation acquires his company, and Grogradsky–due to an incident at the Halloween party–is in violation of office policy. So goes the story of former Denver resident Roman Hardgrave’s directorial debut, Standards of Ethical Conduct. While this comical and tightly woven office film has universal appeal, all 45 minutes of it are Denver born and bred. The mini-movie was shot in the Mile-High City and brought to life by local actors. Don’t be surprised if you recognize cast members, like Chuck Roy, a house comedian at Comedy Works and five-time host of Film on the Rocks.
