As Westword points out, fraternity brothers will probably mourn the announcement that the University of Colorado-Boulder is no longer considered one of the nation’s top 10 party schools. That’s according to the Princeton Review’s 2009 survey of 122,000 students at 371 colleges, which ranks CU as 11th, representing a decline from the university’s big partying days in 2003 (via 9News). But CU still scores high in the “reefer madness” category, ranking No. 5, down from last year’s No. 3 spot, writes the Rocky Mountain Independent. There’s plenty of video evidence showing just how much CU students enjoy their marijuana, thanks to the Colorado Daily, which quotes CU spokesman Bronson Hilliard as dismissing the study. Princeton’s methodology, he says, is not scientific. The No. 1 school for weed? The University of California at Santa Cruz.
