We’re at that crucial part of January, that time of the month when you might feel ready to let your resolutions slide off your plate and just get through the daily grind.

Trust me, I’m right there with you. Now that I’m in the gym six days a week, I’m flat-out daunted. So are my burning hamstrings.

So it seems Saturday’s 2010 Resolution Expo at the Lakewood Holiday Inn is coming along at the perfect time. It’s a daylong (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) survey that will give you resources to keep a variety of resolutions. Approximately three dozen organizations will be represented, spanning topics from finances to health to your career, as well as offering a range of short classes throughout the day.

The 30- to 40-minute classes cover a surprising amount of subjects, from the fun “Learning Tea” and “Learning the Benefits of Chocolate” to the more sobering “Tax Planning for 2010” and “Raising Your Credit Score.”

Even better, it’s free. (Although, if you bring two non-perishable food items, you’ll get more chances to win door prizes.)
