Actor Charlie Sheen is expected to return to Aspen today after spending most of Christmas Day in jail following his arrest for a domestic violence incident in which his reportedly intoxicated wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, accused him of pulling a knife. Sheen, who faces charges of menacing, criminal mischief, and assault, entered a substance abuse rehab facility last month (via The Associated Press). Mueller Sheen, who reportedly recanted many of her initial charges in the Aspen melee, has been in and out of rehab facilities since the incident, according to TMZ. The couple apparently is seeking to reconcile their differences, but Sheen is prevented from contact through a court order. Meanwhile, Two and a Half Men, the long-running sitcom in which Sheen stars, has resumed production (via The New York Times).
