The 28th-annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen is a little more than two months away, and the lineup looks delicious. Headliners, such as super-chefs Mario Batali, David Chang, Giada De Laurentiis, Thomas Keller, and Jacques Pépin, gather from June 18–20 to teach cooking seminars and rub elbows with each other—and you.

The culinary masters answer your questions, lead cooking demonstrations, share recipes and wine-pairing tips, and sign books. But to get in on the action, you’ve gotta have a ticket ($1,185). The earlier you register, the more likely you’ll score seats to the most popular seminars. I’ve got my eye on Joshua Wesson’s Best Wines for Haute Dogs, Art Smith’s Comfort Foods Lite, Rick Bayless’ Spicy Mexican Flavors, and In the Kitchen with Top Chef (hosted by Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons).

The festivities also include the annual celebration of the country’s 10 Best New Chefs. This year, Denver’s own Alex Seidel from Fruition Restaurant is on the list.

To register, call 1-877-900-WINE (9463) or go online.

Bonus: Act now and you can still find lodging deals, like the Sip, Savor & Save package (starting at $1,529 per person), which includes lodging for two at the Inn at Aspen, a pass to the Classic, and one free activity—golf, rafting, guided hike, jeep tour, mountain biking, or Swedish massage—per person.
