Charlie Sheen, the star of the TV sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” could spend 30 days in jail if he enters an expected plea of no contest to charges that he assaulted his wife in Aspen during last year’s Christmas break. That’s according to several reports, including one from TMZ that says the 44-year-old actor would have a misdemeanor assault on his record. However, a district attorney has refused to confirm the deal, and an attorney for Sheen says no deal has been reached yet, according to Reuters. Sheen, the highest paid actor in television, is expected to appear June 7 in an Aspen courtroom regarding his December 25 arrest after an incident with his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen. Among the charges Sheen is otherwise facing is class five felony menacing involving the use of an unspecified weapon in a threatening way.
