The passion University of Georgia Bulldog fans have for the school’s college football team is well known, and those fans will do just about anything to support their team. Apparently, that includes manipulating ticket sales to the October 2 game between the Bulldogs and the University of Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder.

The Daily Camera reports that CU officials have discovered 29 people believed to be Bulldog fans used a special promotional code to buy 123 discounted tickets reserved for a special section set aside for the families of the Buffs’ 1990 national championship team. CU believes the tickets went to Bulldog fans because the e-mail addresses used to reserve the tickets included terms like “UGA” and “Dogs.”

The tickets will apparently be reissued to the family members through a different alumni code.

Meanwhile, star defensive prospect Nick Kasa tells The Denver Post that after an injury-marred freshman season in Boulder, he’s feeling great and ready to live up to the hype of being a top national prospect coming out of Legacy High School.
