If you could live in any state in the country, except for the one you are living in now, where would it be?

When the Harris Poll asked that question of more than 2,600 adults last month, the number one answer was California. Then came Hawaii and Florida. And Colorado, which was number five last year, moved up into fourth place, with Arizona trailing behind, notes the Northern Colorado Business Report.

Colorado has consistently done well in the poll, ranking fourth or higher nine times during the last 12 years, points out the Denver Business Journal. Colorado’s ranking improves to number two among “matures,” those 65 and older, but the state doesn’t crack the top five for Gen X-ers (34-45) or Baby Boomers (46-64).
