As the 10th-busiest airport in the world, Denver International Airport is used to making headlines (we’re looking at you, Santiago Calatrava, for bailing on the South Terminal Redevelopment Program earlier this fall) and to a hectic pace. Even so, last November proved to be one of the busiest in DIA’s 15-year history, when a whopping four million passengers and more than 45 million pounds of cargo passed through the airport. Our advice this Thanksgiving holiday: Arrive early and don’t forget your iPad for security-line reading.
