September is when all Coloradans should entertain outside: It’s not too hot, not too cold—and the garden is finally producing those waited-for-them-all-summer vegetables. We asked Amy Figge, owner of Hutch & Fig home-goods store in Cherry Creek North, to set the table for her perfect harvest meal.

Glassware / Simon Pearce wine glasses feel both substantial and elegant. “My husband dropped one of these the other day, and it didn’t break,” Figge says. The Ball glass canning jars are from McGuckin Hardware in Boulder and double as the Figges’ everyday glasses.

Plates / “I love white dishes because they can be really formal or really casual,” Figge says. The clay plates are by Italian ceramic manufacturer Vietri. Figge likes to collect Italian pieces to honor her husband’s grandmother, who lived in Italy for 20 years. Plus,
“they give the table that Italian harvest table feel,” Figge says.

Placemats / Harvey & Strait maize placemats add an organic, grounding vibe to the table.

Flatware / The stainless steel flatware by Ricci Argentieri is a favorite of Figge’s because they feel “heavy but not bulky, which makes them great for an outdoor meal.”
