Summer doesn’t officially start until June 21, but in Colorado one event always heralds the changing of the season: the BolderBOULDER 10K race. On Memorial Day (May 27), more than 52,000 participants will run, walk, and wheel through the People’s Republic to a finish line at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. It seems fitting that while the rest of the country celebrates a day off with backyard BBQs and beer, we choose to exercise first. How very Colorado. Plus, there’s always time for a post-run beer. Bonus: You can still sign-up for the race!
