Exotic dip-dyed tunics, beaded caftans, and plush cashmere cardigans are the signatures of Calypso St. Barth, the latest luxury lifestyle brand to make its way to Denver this year (doors open July 19). Known for romantic, feminine pieces—see the Lillian Top ($350; pictured, right)—Calypso’s clothing and accessories allow women to mix and match for an effortlessly elegant look.

Also look out for the debut of funky shoe line John Fluevog on July 20. A favorite of club kids and urban hipsters, the men and women’s footwear emporium will be joining the shops at Larimer Square. My top pick for ladies: the Queen Transcendent—Elizabeth ($329; pictured, left), featuring a Louis XV Cabriole leg (or “ball and claw”) heel.

For weeks, fashion elite have wondered where Terri Garbarini was moving her namesake boutique. Now we know: The new store (it just opened on Monday) is still in the heart of Cherry Creek North—but it’s a whopping 9,000 square feet (that’s more than double the size of the previous shop). That’s a heck of a lot more space to browse Garbarini’s always reliable lineup, with everything from weekend and work essentials to demure cocktail dresses.

Consignment and resale shopping continues its popular streak in Denver. One of my favorite stops, SecondLove, is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month. Here, thrifty shoppers get the experience of a full-priced boutique (without the same price tag) as they sort through racks of well-merchandised women’s labels ranging from Banana Republic to Dolce & Gabbana, plus Lululemon workout wear. There’s also a growing men’s section and an entire room devoted to children’s clothing and maternity wear—complete with a teepee for entertaining the kiddos while mom shops. Tip: Shop the Highland store July 14–20 when 10 percent of sales will be donated to the GrowHaus.
