After a long day skiing Breckenridge, I’m often tempted to hole up in my condo and order takeout. That is, until I discovered Le Petit Paris Bistrot, a tiny, seven-year-old restaurant just steps off of Main Street. Now, I wind down with a glass of Bordeaux and a cheese plate and watch as owner Arielle Lamoure flits about the room wishing diners “Bon appétit” in her singsongy accent. The aromas of French cuisine—garlic, lemon, braised meats, red wine sauce, caramelized onions—tease my senses. Never again will I let weary legs keep me from sampling Le Petit’s offerings. 161 E.
