Pause for paws: The 10th annual Give Paws is a culinary experience with a cocktail and appetizer hour, a five-course meal, and desserts prepared by the creative forces behind Denver favorites like Linger, Steuben’s, Old Major, D Bar, TAG, Fruition, Sugarmill, and more. Proceeds go to the Dumb Friends League, a local animal shelter. Tue, 5:30 p.m.; The Infinite Monkey Theorem.

Feed your heart: Sample small plates from local restaurants like Mizuna, Table 6, and Jezebel’s, and then vote for your favorites. The event will benefit The Adoption Exchange, which connects children in foster care with families who want to adopt. Thu, 6 p.m.; Grand Hyatt Denver.

Get outdoors: Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado will help clean up Bohn Park‘s flood damage. This park along the St. Vrain river experienced severe damage after last September’s floods, including a great deal of debris that needs to be removed. If you were wondering, it’ll be in the 50s on Saturday—so spend the day outside. Sat, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; Bohn Park, Lyons.

Support art with your appetite: Dine & D’art will celebrate the 40th anniversary of ArtReach, a nonprofit organization that works to bring arts and culture to everyone. There will be cocktails, dinner, music, artwork, a live auction, and an after party. Sat, 6:30 p.m.; Wings Over the Rockies.
