You might be daydreaming of a summer vacation this week (we know we are). Get grounded again with these five do-good opportunities.

On a Roll: Do you remember your first bike? Thanks to Wish for Wheels, a nonprofit that donates bikes and protective gear to low-income families, many more kids get this quintessential childhood experience. This week, volunteers will provide riding lessons and reassemble 80 bicycles for Laredo Elementary School in Aurora. Tue, 9 a.m.; Bicycle Village, Aurora.

Homecoming: If you’ve been watching real estate listings lately, you should check out the Mile High Raffle for a $2.5 million, 5,800-square feet Cherry Creek Dream House (or $2 million in cash, if you’re attached to your current home). Additional prizes include cars, cash, cruises, and more. Proceeds from the tickets benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, so hurry: Friday is the last day to purchase raffle tickets, although the drawing won’t take place until May 30. Fri; Owen Boys & Girls Club.

Battle Ready: Join the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in celebrating their Man & Woman of the Year. Candidates for this competition raise funds for cancer research in honor of local kids with blood cancer. Each dollar they raise qualifies as a vote—check the organization’s website to find out how to donate. Sat, 6-11 p.m.; Denver Marriott City Center.

Runway: It’s no secret Coloradans love their dogs. At Mutts & Models, notable Denverites participate in a fashion show with their dogs. Operating under a “Viva Paws Vegas” theme, the annual event benefits PetAid Colorado, which subsidizes veterinary services. Sat, 6:30 p.m.; EXDO Event Center.

Best Foot Forward: Put your weekend walk to good use with the Walk to Cure Arthritis. The event raises funds research to find a cure for junior rheumatoid arthritis. With one and three mile options for the walk, Tai Chi, and a 5K, there will be activities for all levels of athletes. Sun, 9 a.m.; Washington Park.
