Here’s the scenario: It’s Friday night and there’s only a half-glass of Pinot Noir left in your house. A trip to the liquor store seems daunting—it’s been such a long week—but dang, a big ol’ glass of red wine sounds good.

Thanks to an alcohol delivery app set to debut in Colorado this week, that dilemma is solved. Drizly, an app that’s been in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston since 2013, has chosen Denver as it’s fifth city. (They must know how much we love our beer.) While other liquor delivery services exist, Drizly is the first mobile app of its kind to come to the Mile High. The free app functions in the same vein as Uber and Lyft, in the sense that it connects directly to your credit or debit card, so there’s no need to carry cash on you (you can even tip your driver through the app).

In the time it takes to order a pizza, the beer, wine or liquor of your choice will be at your doorstep. Drizly is partnered with Argonaut’s and will have access to the warehouse-size liquor store’s goodies, so app users aren’t limited in their selections. And while the price of the liquor, beer, or wine of your choice will stay the same as it is sold in-house, Drizly has to make money, too: There’s a $5 delivery fee. Five bucks seems like a small price to pay, though, to stay safe, spend that extra 30 minutes with friends, or avoid the hassle of another errand.

Bonus: First-time users can waive their $5 fee with the promo code WELCOMEDENVER through July 31. The app officially launches in Denver on Wednesday, July 23.
