The fair hamlet to our south ranks as the eighth-most-educated city in the nation, an analysis by the website WalletHub concludes. Denver clocks in at No. 28.

WalletHub’s rankings were based on a variety of factors—including education level and the quality of education in each city—and used data from a variety of places, such as the U.S. Census Bureau and GreatSchools.com. The Springs ranked fourth in the percent of adults with some college or an associate’s degree and places second when it came the highest percentage of people 25 or older who have a high school diploma.

The top city? Ann Arbor, Michigan. The least-educated city among the 150 studied was Beaumont, Texas.
