The season’s first big snowstorm (and accompanying deep freeze) slammed the Mile High City this week, bringing record-breaking cold temperatures for two straight days. On Monday evening, just as the storm blew in, Denver commuters were already experiencing a slow slog down I-25. The good news? The balmly temperatures brought much-needed snow to the high country, allowing many ski resorts to set their official opening dates.
