And just like that, holiday madness is here. To celebrate (or seek solace), find your way to RiNo Yacht Club and order the seasonally attuned You’ll Shoot Your Rye Out. Made with Rittenhouse Rye, spiced pear liqueur, Cynar, maple syrup, and Sriracha bitters, McLain Hedges‘ masterful cocktail was inspired by the lead up to the holidays. Hedges says “I think there is a certain bit of nostalgia not only in the name, but also in the taste with warming spices, pears, and, of course, whiskey.” Cynar balances the cocktail with a small amount of bitterness, while Brooklyn Hemispherical Sriracha bitters brings depth and a hint of lingering heat. The golden rim on the glass makes the drink all the more festive.

Sip along with eats from Acorn’s rolling food cart. Dishes range from $2 to $12 and the menu changes on a whim. If available, order the crispy Brussels sprouts; the beet salad with shaved fennel, grapefruit, and burrata; and the house pâté.
