Colorado Gives Day: You don’t even need to leave the couch for this—just log onto the Colorado Gives website to donate to any of the 1,600 listed Centennial State charities. The site operates annually, but Colorado Gives Day helps focus statewide funding and celebrates philanthropy. Tuesday, 12 a.m. to 12 p.m.

A Season to Share: You can have a global impact without leaving Denver at this philanthropic gathering. Enjoy drinks, appetizers, and an art show before hearing from guest speaker Pat Blumenthal from the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado. Tickets are $50, and proceeds benefit the Women’s Global Empowerment Fund, which assists underserved women through economic, social, and political programs. Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m.; Redline, 2350 Arapahoe St.

Santa’s Elves: Let your little ones play Santa’s little helpers with this Kids Giving to Kids event, where children can give presents (and hugs) to kids from some of the poorest cities in Colorado. Find your gift-receiver and see their wish list, then meet him or her in person at this special event. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rude Recreation Center, 2855 W. Holden Pl.; Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m.; South Lowell Community Center, 4725 South Lowell Blvd.

To submit your event or organization for inclusion in 5280’s weekly “Get Involved” column, email [email protected].
