Healthy Sweets: Truffles from Two Moms in the Raw

If eating healthier is one of your New Year’s resolutions, chances are you’ve cut back on favorite foods. For those already suffering from chocolate withdrawal, there’s a guilt-free remedy: truffles from Longmont-based Two Moms in the Raw.

These treats aren’t your typical morsels of sweetened chocolate filled with even more overly sugared stuff. Instead, these dense and decadent snacks are made with simple, organic, and raw ingredients that are free of wheat, dairy, soy, GMOs, gluten, and refined sugar. It’s not too good to be true—the truffles are healthy and rich and delicious.

They come in three flavors: green tea–vanilla, cayenne-cacao, and the almond butter–cacao truffles (the latter won the 2013 Vegetarian Times Foodie Award for best raw goodies).
